More than 300 participants discussed current developments in indicating technology at the 8th International Symposium on Combustion Diagnostics 2008 organized by AVL Deutschland GmbH.
On June 10th and 11th 2008 and for the 8th time, AVL Deutschland GmbH staged an international symposium in the spa buildings at Baden-Baden, covering the topic of combustion diagnostics with particular focus on the areas of indicating, optical diagnostics and simulation.
The 8th International Symposium on Combustion Diagnostics was once again a complete success as far as the participants and exhibitors were concerned. With its combination of simulation, indicating and optical diagnostics this event presents current achievements in combustion diagnostics and offers both methodology experts and engine developers the ideal platform for discussing current questions whilst also establishing their own position.
Alongside contributors from a wide range of universities there were well-known presenters from international companies including DaimlerChrysler, BMW, General Motors, Renault, Toyota, Audi and others. More than 300 participants from more than 60 international companies paid close attention to the latest concepts and developments in the field of combustion diagnostics.
